Driven Pheasant

Driven pheasant parties can be organised in 10 different shoots in Croatia, Slovenia and Northern Serbia. In most of Eastern European estates you will find that birds are much heavier than in the UK and because of it they are not necessary extremely high flyers but they are very challenging birds. We organise driven pheasant shooting in old oak forests with small hills - Estates ‘Ristovaca’ and ‘Hrastovaca’. It is possible to provide from 150 to 1000 pheasants per day for teams of 5-10 guns and overall shooting experience is similar to Hungary. Shoot transportation is often by horse-ridden carriages and at the moment Northern Serbia offer the best value for money when it comes to traditional driven pheasants shooting.

Grey Partridge

Grey partridge shooting in Northern Serbia takes place in the natural environment of this unpredictable and fast bird. Our main areas for driven partridge shooting is in the north east Serbia close to the river Danube where the old dried Danube meanders on the edge of sand based district’ Deliblatska Pescara’ creates set of memorable valleys perfect for driven partridge shooting. Climate landscape and the overall experience are quite different to anything else that can be found on driven game shoots in Spain or in the UK. We provide from 150-250 birds per day for groups of 8 to 10 guns. The cost of a driven day depends on the size of bags and quality of shooting. It must be arranged at least 11 months in advance if a team expect to get a good price and good shooting.

New Project

We are looking for investors to join operation of setting up a new shoot in Northern Serbia where it is possible to offer completely wild partridge and pheasant driven shooting. The area provides a lot of necessary hills in unique landscape of biggest European sand based district just 1h from the capital Belgrade. At the moment we have land and all permits to start releasing grey partridge and pheasant chicks in numbers (10.000-15.000 each year). This method will provide wild challenging game because young released chicks will immediately mix with wild birds and learn from them tricks of surviving as a wild bird. In this area there are no local farms and pheasants can not be responsible for any damage on crops. Released birds will create sustainable numbers for driven shooting of purely wild birds that will be a unique opportunity for driven grey partridge offered in Europe and World Wide. Warm climate with hot summers and plenty of food all year round create all necessary conditions for chick releasing that is a long tradition among local sporting clubs that each May put few thousands of pheasants in local woods. Newly released chicks successfully mix up with wild birds and behave like wild one with no difference by the start of season. Wild grey partridge and wild pheasants are much respected nowadays and price is up to 40% higher than for birds that are released few weeks before start of season. Please let us know if you have in mind anybody that will be happy to invest in this ‘purely wild birds’ driven game project in this unique landscape that is in the same time natural environment for grey partridge.
