Season (15 February - 31 December)
We provide exclusive wild boar stalking with experienced guides on a one to one bases. For this type of stalking you have to be reasonably fit as you may need to react very quickly to a moving boar. Some areas are quite hilly and others very wet. The excitement of shooting boar on foot is highly rewarding and exciting. Our success rate is 20% per day in open areas and 60% in enclosed areas. However, high seats will always guarantee you at least 2 chances each day, in the evening and in the morning.
Wild Boar Shooting from High Seats
This type of shooting is organised in the morning and in the evening from high seats. During the day Guns can try to exercise their luck and stalk boar around the woodlands or look for other shooting attractions. Many visitors do not understand that stalking boar is a totally different business compared to stalking deer. It is pure luck to cross paths with a truly wild boar. May-October is the best time for boar stalking while boar shooting from high seats can be organised all the year round and often can be mixed with duck, geese or quail shooting. In some areas it is possible to provide local mouflon stalking or even chamois. It can be hard, however, to get all 3 animals in one week.
A hunter pays a daily organisational fee plus a trophy fee (please contact our office for a trophy price list).
