Duck & Goose Season in Serbia
(01 September - 15 February)

The best time for wild duck shooting is Early September and for hunters that prefer more Geese in the bag real season starts from Late December until late January. The river Danube with its many channels, ponds and valleys around Deliblato Sands provide some of the largest wintering grounds for migrants totalling 160 000 wild birds during extremely cold weather on relatively small area of around 20 km in places where Deliblato Sands is leaning on Danube.

This region offers the opportunity to shoot very high number of wild birds per day, which you can choose from 8 species of duck (Gadwall, £ pean Teal, Mallard, Pintail, Garganey Teal, Southern Shoveler, Common Pochard, Tufted duck) and 2 species of geese (Bean goose and White-fronted goose).
